iziato Salon & Spa has compiled a list of frequently asked questions and answers to make your spa experience with us your most "Exquisite Daily Event".

 

 

What makes Viziato Salon and Spa different from other Salons or Spas?

1 $5,000 massage beds for one. Some people think that they are in the massage business when they buy a $150 to $250 massage bed from Costco. We felt like the investment was worth making for our guests. What else?

2 We are a true Salon and Spa, not a salon that said “oh hay” there is an extra room so let’s put a pedicure chair or massage bed in there and now we can say we are a “salon and spa”

3 We are TRYING to become Five Star and until we get there, we won’t say we are. We believe that “Five Star” actually means something.

4 Bottled Water for our guest. Paper cups or a half washed glass with a nice shade of red lip stick still on it just doesn’t work for us here. And by the way, we don’t charge you $1.50 for it either.

5Our Staff members (we call them internal guests) are actually employees. We don’t play the game “I rent so I can come and go as I please and who cares if my clients get upset when I don’t show up or leave early”. We do care, and we do expect our guest to be treated as if they were special guest in our own personal home. We attempt to work with the finest of the finest in the industry. We will continue to help our staff improve their skills both technical and communicative.

6 We call those who come to visit us “Guests” not clients. We think there is a difference. We want to have people coming to us because they really want to, not because they feel locked in. After all, you aren’t going to your Attorney’s office.

What are your hours of operation?
Viziato Salon and Spa is open Monday - Friday from 9 am - 8 pm, Saturday from 8 am - 6 pm and
we are closed on Sunday. We look forward to seeing you

Why does your menu have prices "Starting at" ?
Why does our menu have prices starting at? At Viziato, our technicians are priced according to their guest base and the availability of their schedule. A technician whose schedule is open day to day will likely be at our starting price. On the other hand, a tech who is scheduled several weeks in advance will have a higher price point..

What do I need to bring?
Viziato Salon and Spa provides you with a robe, towel, and slippers, in addition to locker amenities such as shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and moisturizer.

How many services can you handle?
We have 8 hair stations, 3 manicure stations, 7 pedicure thrones (4 in spa area and 3 in Front Hair area), and 6 spa treatment rooms including the hard to find Vichy Shower room.  We also have a Make-Up area for Make-Up applications.

What should I do before my treatment?
Showering is essential before any appointment, because the beneficial oils are best absorbed through clean skin. Showering/Shaving at home prior to your visit is encouraged especially before any bronzing treatment. If you are having a treatment with our relaxing Vichy shower, you may want to remove any makeup. You will be wet.

What should I wear?
You will be given a comfortable robe and slippers to wear in the spa area. We provide lockers for you to store your belongings during scheduled treatments.

How early should I arrive for my spa treatment?
Please arrive approximately 30 minutes before your first appointment to allow yourself ample time to properly check in, fill out any needed information, change into your robe and familiarize yourself with the spa and relax prior to your services. Late arrivals may result in a shorter treatment time. The fees will remain the same.

Do I have to disrobe entirely for a spa treatment?
This is your treatment and we want you to feel comfortable. It is customary for guests to completely disrobe for their spa services, although you may wear a swimsuit or undergarments if you prefer. Keep in mind that our therapists are trained to drape you discreetly and to protect your privacy at all times.

Should I alert someone if I have any physical ailments, disabilities, or allergies?
Yes. Please inform the spa scheduler when booking your appointments and make note of it on your client information form. Please also advise your therapist at the time of your treatment. This will help them select the best services to meet your needs and insure a positive experience for you.

Should I avoid the spa if I’m pregnant?
Not at all, though you’ll want to avoid treatments using deep pressure and/or heat. For your own safety, please consult with your physician before scheduling any services.

Are there health benefits to a spa visit?
The guaranteed benefit of a spa visit is your immersion into a relaxing environment, which reduces stress. Stress reduction is one of the major contributors to good health. Many spa services are geared to easing various aches and pains. Additionally, take-home programs developed for you can help you make lifestyle changes for long-term benefits.

Courtesies and Policies

Appointments
Appointments are recommended but not necessary. We welcome drop-in appointments and will happily accommodate your needs to the best of our ability. If you would like to secure a time for your service feel free to schedule an appointment in advance with your favorite technician or with one of our other qualified staff members. Large groups and multiple services are best accommodated with appointments scheduled in advance to insure ample availability of staff members.

Late Arrival
If you are running late for your appointment, a phone call would be recommended. Late arriving appointments cannot be guaranteed of a service time slot. Late arrivals may be subject to an adjusted appointment duration or given away to a standby client.

Refunds
Because of the nature of our products, all product and gift certificate purchases are non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy
Scheduled “services" are for your convenience, and we do set that time aside for you. Should a cancellation or date change be necessary, we require a minimum of 24-hours notice for any single service. Multiple services and group parties are secured with an active credit card. A 48-hour notice is required for any multiple service or spa package cancellation or date change. In the event that you fail to meet these cancellation time frames, the full service will be charged as a cancellation fee for all reserved appointments. Should you reschedule your service or services for a future date, then the cancellation fee will only be 50%. All no show appointments will be charged for the entire service. “No Show Clients” may be required to reserve any future appointments with a credit card.

Gratuity
The prices of our services do not include gratuities. If you feel you have received exceptional service and would like to leave a gratuity to one of our professionals, you may do so at your discretion.

Cell phones and pagers
We would greatly appreciate the turning off of these 2 items, as to contribute to the serene atmosphere we would like to sustain for all of our guests.

Children
We welcome children to participate in our salon and spa services. However, as a courtesy to our guests and as a safety precaution, we respectfully request that children without an appointment do not accompany you to your scheduled service. If you find that you have a conflict, we will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a better time.

Certain treatments should not be performed on those with severe medical conditions, pregnant, or certain allergies. Please consult your physician and let our staff members know of any such condition so they can customize your treatment accordingly.
